There was so much beauty in this wedding that I just had to share it with you. Rose contacted me to do hairstyling for herself and her bridal party on the day of her wedding, which was held at Hawksmoor House, on Majiesfontein Farm near Stellenbosch. This was my first time at this venue and the minute I arrived I knew it was going to be something special.
Rose wanted to keep her hair very simple, with a relax yet glamorous feel to it. Her dress had a beautiful low cut back which we wanted to show off. Therefore we softly curled the hair and created some volume on the top of the head. Clip-in extensions were used to add further volume. The hair was swept onto one shoulder and the fringe softly clipped out of her face.
The wedding dress, purchased overseas, was a stunning mixture of ivory lace and tulle. Finished with a dirty pink satin sash around the waist and tied in a bow at the back. The look was completed with a daring pair of leopard print Jimmy Choo heels (how gorgeous are these!).
The garden was transformed into a romantic wedding reception. The monochrome colour theme was carried throughout the wedding, from the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen suits, to the chic table setting and decor.
